Youth Enrichment Services (YES) is celebrating its 30th Anniversary!
Thirty years ago, our founders never imagined that YES would become the premiere youth agency in the Town of Islip, as well as the leading agency in Suffolk County and New York State. YES has grown geographically and programmatically providing a wide variety of quality services for our children. YES focuses on youth development and asset building through after school and summer programs, mentoring, work readiness, job placement, tutoring and substance abuse prevention. YES reduces negative behaviors such as gang involvement, violence, dropping out of school, teen pregnancy by providing opportunities to our youth to engage in the community and through life enhancing activities. In 2016, we proudly opened a NYS OMH licensed Mental Health Clinic for children and families.
In celebrating our accomplishments and, as we look to the future, we recognize the integral role that women have played in the health and well-being of our communities and families. At our “Back to the Future” Celebration on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at Captain Bill’s in Bay Shore, YES honors these Female Leaders who have tirelessly worked for our youth in Government, Education and Community.
Supervisor Angie Carpenter - Town of Islip and YES Founder

Your contribution is so important to the success of this fundraiser. All proceeds will fill the ever-growing need by funding programs and services as YES continues to grow, serving more and more children for the next thirty years and more. During this incredibly challenging economic time, it is critical that our children flourish and our communities kept safe.

We look forward to celebrating our successes and the efforts of our special Honorees on October 18, as we all work together for a brighter tomorrow for our children and communities.
