Starts at 10:00 AM

Parade route: Roderick and Udall Road, begin south to Memorial Park on Udall and Higbie Lane to Opening Memorial Service, continue south on Higbie Lane to Paul J. Bellew Elementary School to Closing Memorial Service.

Join the American Legion Post at their Open House right after the parade. All are welcome. Refreshments will be served.

Any veteran needing transportation to and from the parade may reach out to the West Islip Chamber of Commerce and/or the American Legion Post 1738, 631-422-1738

The American Cancer Society Relay For Life movement symbolizes hope and our shared goal to end a disease that threatens the lives of so many people we love. This is your opportunity to honor cancer survivors, remember those we have lost, and raise funds and awareness to fight back and help end cancer forever.

2014 Elizabeth T. McNamee Run

The West Islip Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring the 2014 Elizabeth T. McNamee Run as a tribute to Elizabeth’s memory to help make  this year’s 5K run another huge success.  Elizabeth’s fund has aided in the awareness and education of HCM and it has supported many community and scholarship programs.

Course
3.1 miles professionally timed by Finish Line Road Race Technicians.  This race is a fast, flat course.  Mile splits with two (2) water stops.  Starts and finishes at West Islip High School.
